Been quite the day today.
I spent the morning trying to figure out how to use the Google Form I was so excited about. It… might not work. Google designed it to auto create a new row. And auto creating a new row means all my pre-filled cells get bumped off the row, and all my formulas get screwed up if I try to fill from one sheet to the next.
I think there’s a way to get it to work. There’s got to be a way to have the formula grab whatever is in the row number no matter what, not having it auto bump the formula a row when the row gets bumped.
(sigh)
That was frustrating.
Took the trash up.
Think I diagnosed the issues with my trailer brakes actually being an issue with my brake controller.
Can I say I’m getting tired of buying expensive things that are broken out of the box or that don’t last almost any time at all after purchasing them? I’m trying to buy good-quality things so that I don’t have to worry about them breaking, but… they break anyway. So much stuff nowadays seems to be junk, even the good stuff. My Keen shoes, the best I ever had in the past… the ones I got this last time–junk. Two jump boxes in a row. A jump pack.
So many things…
And these were super-high-quality options, some of the best stuff out there. What gives? Now this controller? It’s like one of the most well-respected brands out there, I think.
Not working properly? Really!?!?
Good gravy.
So… with my van blowing the tranny yesterday, I could try and work out of my truck for the next couple of weeks while I get a tranny ordered, wait for it to arrive, and then put it in. Or I could buy another van. So what did I choose to do?
I bought… two vans today. 🙃
Two for the price of… 1/2? First one is a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 5.2, and the second one is a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500, which I thought was a 5.9 because that’s what the seller said it was, but it actually turned out to be a 5.2 as well, which… is even better! I was bummed they were different engines, but they’re not! Which means I basically have a parts van if I want it!
🥳
Cool.
I only had one person with me, so I couldn’t drive them both back, so I’ll pick up the other one tomorrow, I think. One is an extended van, which will be really nice for space. The other has shelving on both sides, which is super nice to have.
$1700 total between the two, so… that’s cool. 🙃 Two for the price of 1/2. 😎
Tired.
Good night.
Love and hugs.

Use a $ before the cell reference and it won’t jump a row. At least in Excel. Don’t know about Google Sheets…
Thx! I tried that yesterday, but it wouldn’t work for some reason. The formula seem to be correct, but it’s still lost its place. I’m probably doing something wrong.
