The weather has been gorgeous lately–gorgeous. It’s about to get pretty cold, but it was amazing on Sunday. It was wonderful today. It’s just been… really nice. I’m grateful for that. Good stuff.

Crazy day in my crazy brain today. I don’t know if it’s lack of good nutrition (I’m almost back to my high school weight of 165!! (which was my default weight for many years well into my adulthood). As you all know, eating is a bit of an annoyance to me, so I don’t think much about it when I’m running around like a crazy guy getting stuff done, and I’m busier than I’ve ever been in my life before, I think (at least as a prolonged busy) with just gobs and gobs of things all flying around all at once in life and in my brain.

It’s… nutty.

And I’m not sleeping well or enough. And I’m not eating well or enough. And I’m stressed all the time. 🙃

But in the midst of the craziness, good things are happening, so that’s cool. I’m able to provide work for my nephew. I’m able to provide work for Malaki, so he can take care of his family. I’m able to give work to my brother in law which helps both of us out right now. (I hired him this morning to get all of my equipment going–the Genie, my work truck, the dump trailer, the mini exes, the skid steer, etc.)

If he can do that, I’ll be able to help him and his family out, and he’ll be able to help me get projects done that have been on my to-do list for a long time and that are getting more and more important to get done these days as I prepare to leave my businesses in others’ hands. I want them to be able to go forward without baggage to deal with still. So… there you go.

Got a new phone today. It’s gonna be my personal phone, and the old number will stay with my business. I’ll be using the new number for my personal phone. I’ll send out an updated number to peeps in the coming days. This is the nicest phone I’ve ever gotten. 🙃 I went in to add a line to the plan, and you know how they have deals when you add a line, well, they had the $800 phone as part of the deal. Pay it off at $15/month for 24 months, and it’s yours. Well, do the math, and that’s $360 for an $800 phone. I was going to buy a $450 phone just out right, but their goal to keep me for another two years… I mean… I wasn’t leaving anyway, so, I’ll take the phone for less than I was going to pay for a lesser phone anyway, thank you, very much. 😎

Anyway, new phone (Samsung Galaxy S22), new phone number (to be shared in the next few days once I make the switch permanently.

As far as cars, I did just two today. I was in charge of getting the rock delivered to the hill this morning, so I got that going, and then Jim coordinated from there. That was nice. I was super surprised at how great the rock was that we ordered. The last batch we got was super crappy, but it was super good this time.

I walked my brother-in-law Mike through the list of stuff I needed done and brought him over to the Genie to show him the issues we were dealing with that need to be fixed on it.

Then I headed to a no start (turned out to be a bad battery) in Bella Vista, and then to another no start (turned out to be a bad battery as well) in Bentonville. After that, I went to rescue my nephew Austin, who was heading to Oklahoma to visit some friends and to go to the LDS temple out there, but his motorcycle got a flat tire. He patched that, and then it died on him, so I went and got him (he was only like 40 minutes away), loaded his bike into the back off my van, and brought him home.

I spent a good long time with Richard online trying to see if we could get GoogleSheets or Smartsheet or something to work better than the set up I’ve been working on for a long time now. Not sure how lucky I’m going to be or not. We’ll see. Richard (my brother) has volunteered a ton of his time to help me with this.

Wonderful brother.

Malaki did… five cars today, completing over 7 billable hours, I think, so nice job to Mr. Malaki!

It’s almost midnight, so I’m gonna head to bed soon. On the to-do list for tomorrow is to get the new business registration complete for the tree business and to get the business insurance stuff set up and taken care of.

Those are just 2 of 80 million things on the to-do list, but they’re two massively important ones.

Canada girl stopped messaging me. She seemed really interested, and then after my last message, silence. Maybe she didn’t like that I’m an entrepreneur. Maybe she thought my asking what she wanted most in life was too much. Maybe it’s only been a few days, and though she always replied back less than 24 hours later, maybe it means nothing at all.

I’m not really worried about it, honestly. Like I said… something just doesn’t feel…

Time to eat a little more and go to bed. It’s late, but I’m over the edge again.

Hope y’all enjoyed your Monday.

Love and hugs. 😊
