2023-06-05 — Easy Monday ðŸ™‚

So I purposely didn’t schedule anything new for Monday, so I only had one job on the schedule.

That was nice. 🙂

It was a lady who said her engine was shaking more than it usually did, and I went over there, and it was just a bad coil–just about the easiest possible fix it could have been.

There was one little hiccup, though, and that was that she had had all the coils and all the plugs replaced less than a year previous by another shop. The coil had gone bad already, which was a bit surprising, and I didn’t want her to have to pay for it another coil since it should have been under warranty.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t just get it taken care of easily, as the company was in the city 35 minutes away, and instead of just taking care of it for her, they were telling her that she would have to contact the warranty company.

So I went over to the AutoZone in centerton, and the manager let me exchange the coil for my customer even though it wasn’t on my commercial account.

That was super cool. It meant that I didn’t make any money on the part, but it was better for her because she didn’t have to pay for a part that she didn’t deserve to have to pay for. She should have gotten it all for free anyway from the other company.

So that was good, and she was super grateful that I went out of my way to save her money. 🙂

I spent the rest of the day hanging out with Miguel helping him with a bunch of different things that he needed done, at his shop, and elsewhere. I had dinner with them there, and then I came home and had a second dinner with my mom before spending more time studying the AC certification stuff in preparation for the exam I’ll be scheduling shortly.

Monday in the books.

Love and hugs. 😊
