(written on May 30th from paltry notes taken previously π )
You know, when you don’t write the same day the events occur, nor do you even take notes on the day, when you’re not traveling around or doing anything note that’s out of the ordinary, it’s really hard to remember what actually happened. π
I was at Shaffer Ranch all day, and I can’t remember almost anything of what happened.
Heather was home from work for the day, and I know we spent a while walking around and talking through house stuff, which was exciting and encouraging, and I know that the storage bin that I had precariously positioned in the back of my van with the doors open slid out and sent its contents (four smaller bins full of stuff) spilling out everywhere. π
Let’s see what else I can dig up about what happened today…
…
Okay, the photos on my phone remind me that I sent pictures to Cory, and he graciously helped me understand how to do some of the framing stuff that needs to be done.
Oh! My niece got her mission call and called to tell me! π₯°
That was super cool. π
She’ll be stateside, and I think her mission covers three different states?
Good stuff. π
I’ve toyed with the idea of going on another mission. They changed the rules, so even though I’m a single man over 26 years old, I’m allowed to go again.
But I think my “mission” is different right now.
I’m sure there’s a whole bunch more about the day that is lost to my memory forever. π
Oh well
Lift the world.
Bring it on.
