Boy, was it was hot early. 😅
I’ve got to get myself in bed earlier, so I’ve gotten enough sleep when the morning heat comes radiating through the windows and walls. So far, though, it just isn’t happening (It’s after 1:00 in the morning right now 😬).
It’s been a great day, though. 🙏
I chatted with Richard for a little bit this morning before wishing him goodbye for this trip. Most likely, I won’t be back in Utah again this year. If I am, it’ll probably be winter time.
From Richard’s, I headed down south toward Spanish Fork, listening to an old talk from nearly 50 years ago that I hadn’t listened to in many years but that’s been meaningful to me. 🙏
I stopped off at a random Church in Orem that had a meeting that started at noon, and I was grateful to find one in time for the sacrament despite not having prepared properly ahead of time. 🙏
I ended up spending pretty much all of second hour chatting with one of the members. Really great guy.
Great conversation.
After church, I chatted for a bit with an elderly gentleman who was walking home (he lives right next to the church). Nice man. 😊
People are so great. 😊
Speaking of great people, I had an absolutely fabulous visit with my aunt and uncle in Spanish Fork. We ended up just talking gospel stuff pretty much the whole time I was there, and it was just… so good. 🥰
So glad I took the opportunity to go visit them. Wonderful conversation. Wonderful people. 🙏
I ate a late lunch at Discovery Park, sitting on the grass in the shade of a tree, before going over to my little park at the base of American Fork Canyon, calling my dad for Father’s Day, and chatting with him for a good little bit.
I spent the rest of the evening hanging out with my brother Jared, et al, getting caught up on the lives and dreams and recent experiences of my nieces and nephews and their spouses.
That was really meaningful for me. 🥰
I stayed chatting with Jared and Cortney after the older kids and company left before bidding them good night and driving up to a Maverik in Bountiful, to be ready to pick up my buddy John for a long day of adventure tomorrow.
Probably a “don’t tell mom” adventure. 🙃
Anyway, good night, my lovelies. 🤍
Lift the world.
Bring it on.
