Well, obviously, I wasn’t in Casper today, so no Temple Tuesday for me, but that’s okay.
Once again I was up late, but gratefully, even though there were other things I wanted to do first, I worked hard to put God first. 🤍
Life is so much better when I put him first. 🤍
I’ve probably mentioned this recently, but I’m going to put it here again, a quote from Ezra Taft Benson that I love:
“When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims for our affection, the demands on our time, the interests we pursue, and the order of our priorities. We should put God ahead of everyone else in our lives.”
🤍
Speaking of that, the friend I mentioned in my last post, whom I’ve missed a lot lately, wrote another post last night, and I was happy to read about the beautiful relationship she has built with our incredible Father in Heaven.
She’s had such a beautiful, powerful heart for as long as I’ve known her.
🤍
In a lot of ways, today mirrored yesterday. I spent the bulk of the day answering questions online and catching up on my journal entries (I’m caught up! Again. Lots of short entries 🙃).
I didn’t answer as many questions today as yesterday, but I answered a handful. Some of them went well, and others… not as well. I was grateful to hear back from one gentleman who was dealing with a challenging electrical issue that, because of the information I’d given him, he was able to figure out the problem.
It’s nice to be able to help. 🙏
I mucked and dragged, and I spent some more time doing laser and trench work, though not much, as other things came up.
Chatted with Heather for a bit, who had ended up working until something like 4:00 in the morning to try and meet a deadline for work. 😶 She then turned right around and went to work again at 7:45, I think. 😶
We had a great little chat for a bit after she got home, and then she went to bed to get some badly needed rest.
After chatting with her, I headed outside and called Cory (who’d texted me while I was chatting with my sister), and we had a great little gospel chat. It was also really cool to hear about the wonderful things happening in his life right now. 🤍
After chatting with Cory, I spent some time working on today’s journal entry before then chatting with Hans for a good little bit after he got home from the gym.
He also shared a video that was super moving about a man’s cancer diagnosis and what he went through and his experience with God through the process.
Really beautiful. 🤍
I’m grateful right now. 🙏
There’s so much that I could be stressed over right now, but I feel peace and light, and I’m grateful for that.
And I’ve been feeling a whole lot of love welling up inside of me tonight. 🤍
Have you felt that tonight, too?
…
It’s nice not to have journal entries I need to catch up on. 🙃 I’m just wandering around the property here in the dark staring at the cloudless sky with gazillions of stars in it, the Milky Way on full display.
Such a beautiful world. 🥰
We’ve got this. 🩵
Lift the world.
Bring it on.
