Well that was unexpected. 🙃 You know how things have been oddly slow lately? Well, I only fixed one car today. 😶 Not because I was sick. Not because it was bad weather. Not because I screwed something up. I just... had three cars on the schedule, which is about four fewer than I normally … Continue reading 2024-04-17 — Just One Car?

It was another to-do list day, and I didn't manage to make some progress on some things, so that was good. I filled up the diesel can with fuel, put of my car tools in my CNG van (So I could disassemble the picnic table if needed when I went to pick it up), got … Continue reading 2024-04-16 (Tuesday) — La Lista De Quehaceres

(written on the 16th) I was amazingly and quite pleasantly surprised with how well today went on just about every single front. 🥳🎉🎊💪 Before going out to work, reinstalled the battery that I had charged up for my BMW Z4. I started the Volkswagen to make sure it's battery was still decent. And I started … Continue reading 2024-04-15 — 😶

(written on April 16th} Today was a homesteading day. I separated our compost pile, removing all the larger stuff, so that the stuff that's broken down into nice soil could be easily put in the grow boxes. I started gathering up the wood that I used to help load up the shed. I still need … Continue reading 2024-04-14 — Fence Lines

(written on the 23rd) Another Saturday, another day on the hill. Today was the first family gardening day after Jim and I got the fences set up. Both on hill and offhill family came over to help lay out the weed cloth and arrange everything for planting. I helped a little bit, but before that, … Continue reading 2024-04-13 (Saturday) — Computer Death?

Super busy work day today. First day back to work after the massive poison ivy outbreak. It is a brutal case. A bit more manageable now. Well, my hopes for escaping without getting poison ivy didn't come to fruition. In fact, Not only did I manage to get poison ivy, I managed to get a pretty darn crappy case of it too. I've got poison ivy on my hands, arms, waist, legs, face, and even... in my nether regions (thanks to … Continue reading 2024-04-08 — Full Day & Automotive Circle

(written on the 8th) Today was a Haven Hill Creek Park day. I spent the entire day today working down by the deck, doing a whole bunch of weeding, clearing out vines and other weeds trying to get the deck project done. I was able to get all the brick done that I had on … Continue reading 2024-04-07 (Sunday) — HHCP Day

Early day today. Jim wanted to get a fence up around the family garden this year to try and keep critters out and Stevie was going to help, but because of his work schedule, the only time that he was available was at 5:00 a.m., So we planned to get up at 5:00 a.m. and … Continue reading 2024-04-06 (Saturday) — 5 a.m. Fencing

(written on April 20th) Another full day today, gratefully. Six cars, just shy of 10 billable hours. The first three jobs of the day were all in Bella Vista, the first being a 2013 Chevy Camaro in absolutely gorgeous condition that he wanted front brake pads and rotors replaced on. As is off in the … Continue reading 2024-04-05 (Friday) — Just Work
