Another day in the books. I didn’t do any cars today. Things have slowed down quite a bit. I don’t know if it’s the new guy on the block, if it’s just a slow down, or what it is, but it’s probably good for me. I’m still busy busy busy, but it’s a different busy and it’s working on things that have needed to get done for a while. The… leftovers that just keep getting kicked down the road.
There’s something therapeutic about getting things done that have been on the plate for a long time–even really small things. So that’s nice. I got some of those kinds of things done today.
Gonna be a low of 57 tonight. 😊 Fall is in the air (though its going to surge back upwards in a few days… all the way to the mid 90s… but… fall is on the way, and that’ll be nice. I dread the summer each year, but either I’m getting a bit more used to it, or it was less hot this year. I don’t think it was less hot, so I must be getting a bit more used to it?
Who knows.
Arkansas Auto started working on my terrain. Hopefully, they’ll finish it up tomorrow. They ran into a couple of issues today working on it. One of the chain guides that came with my set wasn’t right, and my o2 sensor was bad.
Wait… I think that o2 sensor might have been a recall. Hmmm… Oh well. Not worth worrying about.
Crossing my fingers they finish tomorrow and get it done right, and that it’s solid. Then it’ll be up for sale and hopefully out of my hair. 🙃 I’ve had that thing for… coming on two years now. 😶 I meant to buy and flip but… whoops. Two years later. I seem to have a habit of holding onto cars I buy to flip. Not so good for the value. Depreciation takes it’s toll.
Anyway, so it’s been a bit of a more leisurely day. Hung out with Miguel a while. Chatted with Thomas for a while. Just… slowed down, and… it felt good.
I’m a little anxious at the moment… working on getting my new Google Business page up. Hopefully, I’ll get it going fairly quickly and get some old customers to do reviews for me to get me built back up.
Lots to do.
I actually will have a full day fixing cars tomorrow, several on the schedule already.
